# App Review, Approval & Launch
If you have reached this section, it means you are closer to becoming part of the App Center and that your application is on the way to drive business growth for numerous merchants. We are thrilled you have chosen GoDaddy Poynt as the platform to share your ideas and we look forward to reviewing your application.
In this section, we will share the application review process based on the diagram shown below. This way, you can always know the status of your app and the next steps.
After you have provided the necessary information and completed all the steps required, the checklist on the Overview tab will disappear and you will see the prompt to submit your application for review.
After you click on the button Submit App for Review, you will see a pop-up on your screen, which explains the expected time of the review process.
Once you are ready, you can click on the button Submit App for Review in the pop-up screen to submit your app.

SUBMITTED
tag will change toIN REVIEW
, which means that the application has been successfully submitted for review.
The application will go through an automated APK scan. If the application is rejected, you will receive a email notification detialing the reasons for rejection and the recommendations.
Once the application has been approved and you have been notified via email, a button to publish the application will be enabled, and the status will change to
LIVE
.
# Review Parameters
To maintain app adoption and continued merchant interest, the app review process considers the following factors:
The app should be solving a specific merchant need or pain point or target a specific merchant vertical. It should also offer functionalities that differentiate it from other available apps.
The developer is responsible for finding the merchant(s)/reseller(s) who wants to use/distribute their application.
The Developer must have an active developer account (US (opens new window) | EU (opens new window)).
The app must be submitted for review through the Developer portal (opens new window).
Developer must verify and ensure compliance with the general guidelines as described in the App Development Guidelines.
The developer must ensure compatibility with the PST3 & N910 devices by following the App Compatibility Setup
Should any changes be required, the developer updates their application accordingly.
When the app is created, GoDaddy Poynt generates 2048 bit RSA private key that the developer needs to download to securely communicate with their app.
# App Review SLA
For both first time and updated app submissions, the first response from the GoDaddy Poynt App review team will be 1 Business Days from the date of the submission.
The response could be any of the following:
APK Approval - This will enable the publication of the app on the App Center.
APK Rejection. If the app is rejected, you will receive a notification via email containing the reason for rejection and the recommendations.
The SLA will be reset to 1 Business Days for all follow-up requests and/or submissions.
